Treatment on face

1. What will the Genie RF 100 treatment feel like?
   There is a process of heat accumulation under the skin, but the high temperature doesn't cause any surface damage, as the surface temperature will be between 40 ¨C 70 degrees, & you can adjust accordingly to what you can tolerate, so generally it is comfortable. Though some other forms of RF treatment can be rather painful because of intense heating pulses whilst cooling the skin.
2. What results will I see after treatment?
   For many people, you will find your skin lifted and tightened, your sweat pores will be smaller & you will feel more rejuvenated.
3. Are there any side effects after the face treatment?
   Some people may have a slight redness and little hot feeling, but that is all normal and will disappear in about 20 minutes.
   A few people may have some swelling, which is also normal for those with sensitive skin, but it is nothing to worry about & will go down in 1 or 2 days.
4. Are there different result for different people?
   Yes, generally speaking, oily skin often gets results more easily as dry skin's elasticity is weaker. So keep skin well moisturised.
5. How long will it be before I see results?
   This depends on a person's age and skin condition. But in many people, an instant result can be found after the first treatment and for most people, skin becomes tighter after 3 days.
6. How long will the results last after one treatment?
   As this is non-invasive treatment, the collagen growth needs time. With your first treatment you can see a instant contractive result but that only lasts about one week. If you want to have long term results, you should follow the guidelines, & treat yourself once or twice a week for at least 6 to 8 times, and then repeat this cycle 3 more times, thereafter, maintain as your time permits or when you feel the need to.
7. If I have had plastic surgery, gold threading or Aptos lifting done on my face can I do RF treatment? It is not recommended to do RF , but if you've only had lifting in small areas of your face, then it may be possible, but please consult your doctor first. However, you can still use the Genie RF 100 to treat the other parts of your body e.g. stomach, legs and arms, which have not had any invasive treatments.
8. Can people who have injected collagen in their face do RF treatment?
   No, the high temperature can cause these materials to dissolve or be metabolized.
9. What if I have silica gel in my face?
   No, it is not recommended to do RF treatment. The heat of RF can make the silica gel's shape change.
10. Can People having metal fake teeth do RF?
    It is usually not uncomfortable with the Genie RF 100, but if you feel any discomfort you can avoid the upper of lower lip area & still treat the rest of your face or body.
11. Can people suffering from epilepsy do RF treatment?
    No it is not recommended for anyone with epilepsy.
12. Can people with face nerve inflammation do RF ?
    No, if you have face nerve inflammation you should keep away from any stimulation in case a more serious condition occurs.
13. Could I do IPL treatment and RF treatment together?
    It is better to wait 7 days to do RF treatment if you have done IPL treatment.

Treatment around eyes

1. How's the feeling when doing the treatment around the eyes?
   Skin around the eyes is very sensitive, so you may want to choose a lower energy temperature. It is normal if you have a feeling of heat and swelling as the feeling should disappear after about 20 minutes. But you can manage your own heat & also the length of time of your treatment.
2. What  results can I see after the treatment on my eyes?
   Usually most people can see an improved condition on black circles and wrinkles.
   Maybe a few will have dropsy but it will disappear within 3 days.
3. How's the result on congenital black circle?
   There will not be a good result on such a condition.
4. How about eye pouch?
   We have three kinds of eye pouch:  Fat pouch, water pouch and relaxed pouch .
   The water pouch and relaxed pouch can get more instant results after the treatment. Fat pouch is more difficult.
5. Could RF treat wrinkles on the upper eyelids?
   Absolutely not, the skin is too thin and it is easy to hurt your eyes.

1. Why do you advise women to not do RF treatment during menstruation?
   During menstruation, most women's temperament and nerves are weak and sensitive, so the immune system is also weak.
2. Why are results not good if people take drugs containing hormones?
   People suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and other illnesses may take drugs containing hormones & this can be one of the causes of excess fat in your body. This can affect the results.
3. What is the best temperature for my Genie RF 100 treatment?
   Only when the temperature reaches 40 degrees centigrade - 45 degrees centigrade, can the temperature under the dermis and deep tissue  reach around 60 degrees centigrade. At that level, the fat  begins to dissolve. So results will not be as good if the temperature is below 60 degrees centigrade. Best temperature is 72 degrees centigrade.
4. Is it possible to get burned during treatment?
   Absolutely not. Unipolar Genie RF 100 works at 4mm under the epidermis, and the temperature on epidermis is only between 40 degrees centigrade and 45 degrees centigrade . Actually you will feel safe and comfortable.
5. Why do I feel an inner warmth in my body  after the treatment?
   The Genie RF 100 can reach to 21.5 mm depth under the epidermis, which is deep enough to reach the fat layer. So, the warm feeling can stay for 1 to 2 hours.
6. Can it remove stretch marks?
   Until now, no medical equipment can remove stretch marks totally.
   However, RF energy helps rebuild the broken and old collagen and improves the tissue around the marks and lighten the pigmentation. This is why acne scars also improve.
7. Can Genie RF100 improve the condition around my eyes and treat eyes pouch and black circles?

13. What is the best angle I should use the probe at?
    Keep the ceramic coated electrodes fully touching your skin and try to make gentle circling motions without remaining too long in one position. Do not turn the electrodes on their side, as this could cause bruising. Keep them flat against the skin.
